** OBITUARY * *
Neva McDaniel, daughter of the late Dea. Thomas and Melinda M iddleton, was born November 7, 1900 in Clarks Hill, South Carolina. She was converted, baptized and became a member of the Bethany Baptist Church at an early age. She loved her Church. She served faithfully on the Usher Board and the Choirs as long as her health allowed. She loved to sing. H er favorite hymn was "Amazing Grace. "
In April o f 1927, she was united in Holy W edlock to Pride M cD aniel.
On December 8, 1989 at her residence in Brooklyn N ew York, where she made her home for the past six and one-half years, just as quietly and peacefully as she lived, she passed away. She will be remembered not so much for what she said, but for the life she lived and the ready smile she had for everyone.
She leaves to mourn, three sons, Ellis and Tillman F M cDaniel of Augusta, Georgia and John D. McDaniel of Brooklyn, New York; two daughters, Mrs. Ida B. M cCain ofjam aica, N ew York; and Mrs. Lula P. Garrett of Brooklyn, New York; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
