Wj.U s > To this union three daughters hern* She later married James Mason who likewise preeeeded her in death. To this union two children were born, one of whom has passed on before her*
Mrs. Mason was a discreet and pious woman. Affectionately known by her-neighbors and many friends as "Miss Suit", she "lived in her house by the side of the road" and was a friend to every passerby. She bestirred her self little from her premises, but one place that she went frequmitly and regularly was her church. To simplj say that we will miss her would indeed be an understatement*
She leaves to mourn her four daughters: Mrs* Ethel Bennings, Augusta,Ga.; Mrs. Annie Laura * Simpkins, N. Augusta, S* C*;Mrst: Sadie Garrett, with whom she lived, and M r s c Esther Whatley, Cleveland, Ohio. Also-one sister, Mrs. Laura Clark, St. Petersburg, Flsu, and a sister-in law, Mrs. Rhoda M. Lee, that she always thou#it of as a sister^ three sons-in-law, M r Obie Hennings, Mr* Augustus Simpkins, Sr. and Mr. Robert Whatley; one grandson, Mr. Augustus Simpkins, Jr., five great-grandcjildren and many, many friends.
