DONALD LEE MARTIN, 55, of North Augusta, South Carolina, passed away December 16, 2013 at his home with family by his side.
Donald Martin, son of the late Louis Martin and Cornelia Martin, was born September 7,1957 in Newark, New Jersey.
He graduated from Central High School in Newark, New Jersey and attended Phillips College in Augusta, Georgia. He enjoyed singing karaoke, dancing and making others laugh.
He is survived by: his five brothers, Tony Martin of North Augusta, South Carolina, Jeffery (Lillie) Martin of Augusta, Georgia, Robert Martin of North Augusta, South Carolina, Andrew (Rhoda) Martin of Augusta, Georgia and Darrio (Bernadine) Martin of Willingboro, New Jersey; two sisters, Annette Martin of Hampton, Virginia and Linda MartinAshmore of Augusta, Georgia; eight nieces; ten nephews; a number of great nieces, great nephews and friends.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below, with tiny lights like heaven's stars reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tears, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear many Christmas songs that people hold so dear, but the sound of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring, for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see pain inside your heart, but I am not so far away, we really aren't apart. So be happy for me dear ones, you know I hold you dear, and be glad I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I sent you each a special gift from my heavenly home above, I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all, love is the gift more precious than pure gold, it was always important in the stories Jesus told. Please love and keep each other as my Father said to do, for I can't count the blessings or love He has for you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away the tears, remember I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
