Mrs. Daisy Jones Lovett departed this life on Thursday,

June 14, 2012. She was bom November 1, 1927 in

Augusta, GA. She was the daughter of the late John

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Beulah Grove Baptist Church under the leadership o f the late Rev. Oscar C. Parker. She was an active member of the Senior Choir, Laura McCrary Missionary Circle, and the Memorial Ministry.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Horace S. Lovett.

One son, Horace Lovett, Jr. preceded her in death.

She worked as an X-Ray Technician at the Medical College of Georgia until her retirement in 1990.

She leaves to celebrate her life and rejoice in her memory three daughters, Mary (Stanley) Hunter, Phyllis Labord, and Alice Walker, Augusta, GA; three sons, Carl Lovett, Valdosta, GA, Lawrence (Penni) Lovett, Hephzibah, GA, and Lewis (Pamela) Lovett, Augusta, GA; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, and cousins. A special sister in Christ Mrs. Willie Mae Cooper and devoted friends, Mrs. Mary Beard, Ms. Glenda Jones, Bernard Seabrook and Donald Freeman.
