to the parentage of the late Lenton and Maty Hill Brown.

After toiling in the sunshine and the rain, working for her reward, Gloria made her transition on Tuesday, October 11,2011 at her residence. She joins all of the saints that have gone on before her including her parents; siblings, Deborah Ann Shuman and Jerry Brown; her daughter, Danisha Logan and grandchild, William Madison Burney.

Evangelist Logan was a native ofJefferson County. She was converted and at an early age she joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In 1972 Gloria graduated from die Jefferson County High School. Later she moved to Washington, D.C. where she graduated from Howard University in 1978 and began her career working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation until 1979. In 1980 she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and joined the Philadelphia Apostolic Church of P.A.W where she was called into the ministry. She later returned to Jefferson County and eventually moved to Richmond County, where she joined the New Zion Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late District Elder Floyd Lindsey and attended Straight Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Charles M. Herrington. Evangelist Logan also served faithfully as a church Secretary, Pastoral Aid Board member, Nursing Gill Ministry (FIELPS), Sunday School Teacher, Advisor of the Youth Department and Evangelism.

On July 25,1979 she married the love of her life, James Logan.

Gloria was a faithful worker for the Master and a tme Christian. Filled with love and spending every waking hour working tirelessly, helping not anyone that she could but everyone that she could. She never turned anyone from her doors. She not only took care of the physical being but also the spiritual being. A smile was one of the things that she did best. No matter what trials or tribulations she had she kept the faith in God to endure.

The memories of her life will forever be etched in the hearts and minds of:

her husband of thirty-two years, James Logan of Augusta, GA; children,

Antoinette (Eric) Logan Burney, Lajuanita Logan, Deonte Logan and Jaleel

Logan, all of Augusta, GA; stepdaughter, Aleisha Logan of Louisville, GA;

siblings, Johnny Frank (Alveeta) Brown and Linda (Bobby) Hill of Wadley,

GA; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Shirlinda Logan and Zeloy Ann Logan,

both of Wadley, GA, Charlie Mae Hudson of Swainsboro, GA and Juanita

Logan of Sandersville, GA and Jerry Darnell (Valerie) Logan of Lakewood,

WA; grandchildren, Roshod Burney, Malachi Burney Zah'Myah Logan, two

step-grandchildren, Balencia Williams and Malcolm Williams; aunts, Golden

Collins of Wadley, GA and Cora Brown of Decatur, GA; godchildren,

Tamara Mack-Cox, Monique Meadows, Ivy Akins, Ladessha Moore, and

AA'sha Cobb; her spiritual daughters, Louise Turner and LaCesia McCal; and

a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and

friends.
