Doi othy Lockhart, 62, was born to the late Marvin Chandler and Essie C. (Alfonzie) Howard on January 4, 1948 in Burke County, GA., and departed his life on June 8, 2010.

Mrs. Lockhart, attended Gough Elementary and graduatedfrom Lucy C. Laney High School in 1965, attended Augusta Tech from 1968-1970. She was employed by Wren Optical.

Having known the Lord and serving Him faithfully, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior at an early age, andjoined Class Chapel Methodist Church o f Gough, GA. Lovingly known as "Dot", Dorothy was a lovable and compassionate person. She married Jimmy Lockhart, and to this union, one child was born.

Dorothy Lockhart leaves her memories to be cherished forever in the hearts o f loved ones: a son Miguel Lockhart; three brothers, Alton Howard, Augusta, GA, Alfonzie (Anita) Howard, Jr., Atlanta, GA, and Jimmy Howard, Philadelphia, PA; nieces, LaChandra (Bryant) Riley, Jackie (Larry) Steal, Tcimika Yarbourgh, Renee Carson, and April GilHard; nephews, Alton "Demario" Howard, Alfonzie (Sheila) Howcud III, ( onnilius Howard, and Jamie (Barbara) Howard; twelve greatnieces and nephews, aunts, Elizabeth Taylor, Augusta, GA, Bettie Davis, Augusta, GA, Bennie Carswell, Alexander, GA, Jacquelyn Witcher, Cleveland, Oil, and Loins Chandler, Alexander, GA; uncle, Jene Chandler, St. Louis, MO; dearest friends, Wilhelmina Bryant, heresa Guyton, Brenda Briggs, Malena Dent, and Annie Atwell; de voted cousin, James T. White; andfriends, Olivia Wimberly and Robert Trottie; and a host o f other relatives, and friends.
