The Life of Trawick Levar Lewis
In R eminiscence
Trawick Lewis was bom in Augusta, Georgia on December 7, 1978 to Ter rence and Alana Lewis. Trawick was the older son bom from the union of his parents.
As a member of Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church, he actively served as a member of the Junior Security Ministry and attended Sunday School regularly during his youth.
His educational journey began as he entered the Immaculate Conception School to Terrace Manor where he remained to complete his elementary edu cation. He continued his education to Morgan Road Middle School followed by entering Glen Hills High School where he graduated on December 17, 1997. After graduating from Glen Hills, he attended Augusta Technical Col lege. Desiring to pursue his own business interests, he started AUG wireless with his older brother and was a co-owner of Atlantic Mass Productions and Management. Later, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to work for Fed eral Express and later to Coca Cola Bottling Company. After a few years of residing in Charlotte, Trawick returned home to Augusta to work with his father at Kimberly Clark, Incorporated. Most recently, Trawick was working as the Assistant Manager for One Step Ahead Logistics Company.
Trawick departed this earthly life on Friday, August 22, 2008 in Augusta, Georgia. Although his departure was sudden, the impact of his charming per sonality, light-hearted "tell it likS it is" humor, and caring spirit will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Truly, Trawick made a lasting impression on anyone who crossed his path.
To cherish his everlasting memory, Trawick leaves, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Lewis; two sons, Tyler Lewis and Trevor Lewis; two brothers, Mi chael Terence Hill (Melonie) and Tari Levert Lewis; maternal grandmother, Carey Johnson; aunts, Paulette Kenner (John), Sharon Lanham (Ellihue)* Veleda Smith (Willie James), Barbara Owen (Joe), Patricia Wharthen (Rod ney); uncle, Dennis Lewis (Gloria); great aunts, Luenette Wakefield (Mor ris), Eva Thrasher, Eleanor Hatney (John); great uncles, Walter Pass, Quilla Pass, Jr., William Knapper, James Stallings (Geneva); great-great aunts, Wil lie Mae Merritt (Willie) and Helen Hickson; nieces, Christian Amari Hill and Carington Anise Hill; godparents, Keven and Regina Mack; godsister, Kandyce Mack; godbrother, Keven Mack; the mother of his two sons,Tanisha Rollins; his special friend, Ivory Hairston and her son, Troy Brewster, and a host of other cousins and friends.

I slept and dreamt
1slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.
He who wants to do good knocks at the gate; he who loves finds the gate open.
I have spent my days stringing
and unstringing my instrument
while the song I came to sing remains unsung.
