The Day God Called You Home
G od looked around His garden andfoun d an empty space. Then, He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put H is arms around you and lifted you to rest; G od's garden must be beautifulfo r He only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain He knew you never would get w ell upon this earth again. He saw the roads were getting rough and the h ills were hard to climb, He closed your weary eyes and whispered, "PEA C E B E TH INE". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone; For part o f us went with you the day G od ca lled you home.

Oh, Lord, be gentle with her. Be merciful and kind;
For she was loved so dearly By those she left behind,
Walk slowly with her, Lord, As you take her to the Promised Land.
Stay ever by her side, Sing sweetly in her ears And when she cries o f missing us Gently wipe away her tears. And, Lord, when what we've asked is done, We pray our hearts you'll touch, And let her know we love her so, And we miss herjust as much.

God Knows Best
Our Father blow s what's bestfo r us, So why should we com plainWe always want the sunshine,
But He blow s there must be rainWe love the sound o f laughter, A nd the merriment o f cheer,
B ut our hearts w ould lose there tenderness, I f we never shed a tea r. . . Our Father tests us often,
With suffering and with sorrow. H e tests us, not to punish us,
But to help us m eet tomorrow. . . F or growing trees are strengthened
When they withstand the storm, A nd the sharp a d o f the chisel, G ives the marble grace andfo r m . . . G od never hurts us needlessly A nd He never wastes our pain, For every loss H e sends to us,

That G od has freely sent, Wefin d no cause fo r murmuring,
A nd not time to lam ent. . . For our Father loves his children, A nd to Him a ll things are plain,
So He never send us Pleasure, When the sou l's deep need is P a in . . .
So whenever we are troubled, A nd when everything goes wrong,
It is ju st G od working in us, To make our spirits strong.
