** OBITUARY **
God saw the road was getting rough The Hills were hard to climb He gently closed those loving eyes And whispered, "peace be thine ".
Mrs. Lennie M. Kirkland, daughter of the late Hayward and Rachel Easly, was born in old Barnwell County on September 16, 1908.
She moved to Augusta, Ga. at an early age and received her formal education in the Richmond County public schools.
Mrs. Kirkland was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Dearon Harry Kirkland.
She was a member of Thankful Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Deaconess Board.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a daughter, Arrie Lee Farmer, Milwaukee, Wis.; a stepson, Horace Kirkland, Ohio; grand-nephews, nieces, and a host of relatives and loving friends.
