December 4, 2007 at Doctor's Hospital.
Fannie a dedicated mother, sister, and grandmother was born June 18, 1946 in Augusta, Ga. She was the only daughter born to Annie Kimbro. God shared his child with us for a few short years and has now sent his angels to bring her home to rest in his bosom.
Fannie grew up in Augusta,. Ga. and as the years went by she became a member of Hickman A.M.E Church. She also was the Head Chef at Villa Europa Restaurant for 27 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother: Annie Kimbro, her brother Bobby Kimbro, her daughters Geraldine (Deena) Marshall, Patricia Slappy, Latricia (Slappy) Lewis and Melissa Slappy all of Augusta, Ga. Her sons Joe Slappy Jr., Ronald Slappy, Bennie Slappy, Joeseph Slappy and Kareem Wilson all of Augusta, Ga. There are nine grandchildren Marcus (Geri) Kemp, Nicole Slappy, Tykiri Jillett, Brittany Slappy, Destiny Marshall, Brandon Marshall, Fred Marshall Jr., London Marshall, Bijon Marshall, Malaya Marshall and six great-grandchildren Jasmine Kemp, Brian RuffJr., Deshawn Ruff, Carl Garrett, Carlos Jillett and Marcus Kemp Jr. a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
