** OBITUARY **

The hour glass, with its sands of time, has slowly but surely spilled its contents, and with the passing of the last sand, went the life of our loved one.

Mr. Sylvester Key, son of Mrs. Lee Thurmond Beard Key
and the late Mr. Steven Key, Sr.; was born February 1, 1931 in Richmond County, Georgia.

He entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 24, 1982

in the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia; after a lengthly

illness.

He grew up in North Augusta, South Carolina; and attended the Aiken County Public Schools.

He joined the Mealing Grove Baptist Church in 1949 during the pastorage of the late Rev. Houston.
On December 24, 1969 he was joined in Holy Wedlock to Miss Mollie Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Mollie Key, two daughters, Tracy and Terri, all of Pennsylvania; mother, Mrs. Lee Thurmond Key, Belvedere, S.C.; four brothers, Mr. Steven Key, Jr., California, Mr. Ellis Key, Pennsylvania, Mr. Alien Key, Mich., and Capt. Douglas Key, Germany; six sisters, Mrs. Eva Miller, Mich., Mrs. Katie Browning, Belvedere, S.C., Mrs. Almary Vaughn and Miss Deloris Key, North Carolina, Mrs. Vivian Thompson, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Lee Thurmond Ramsey, North Augusta, S.C.; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
