To everything there is a reason, And a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to plant and a time to harvest..
MR. MICHAEL ANDRE JONES, a son of Mrs. Chester Bell Jones and the late Mr. Mack Jones was born in Saluda County, on Jan uary 20, 1940. He departed this life on Saturday, February 4, 1989 at the home of his mother, 302 Waters Avenue after a long illness.
He was a 1960 graduate of Riverside High School.
At an early age, he joined the Rock Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Jones lived in Philadelphia and Con necticut for a number of years until moving back to Saluda to live with his parents.
He leaves to cherish his fondest memories, his mother, Mrs. Chester B. Jones of the home; one daughter, Ms. Patricia Dubley of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers, Mr. Odell Jones of Syracuse, NY, Messers Eugene, Johnnie and Richard Jones of Saluda, SC; three sisters, Ms. Dorothy Jones, Ms. Shirley Jones and Mrs. Lor raine Lee of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; two aunts, three uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other re latives and many sorrowing friends.
