Mrs. Eva J. Jones was born April 7 ,1 8 9 1 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Jasper of Lincolnton, Ga.
She was baptized at an early age by Rev. W. T. Cains at the New berry Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully before her extended illness.
She was the wife of the late Steward Tom Jones.
Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Myrtice H. Burroughs, Augus ta, Ga., and Mrs. Juanita Wells, Elberton, Ga.; one step daughter, Mrs. Willie Lee Smalley, Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Dea. John Jasper, Mar tinez, Ga.; one son-in-law, Rev. Caty Wells, Elberton, Ga.; one sister-inlaw, Mrs. Camilla Turner of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers-in-law, Mr. J. D. Elam and Mr. Alton Reed of Lincolnton, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Beulah Mae Elam and Mrs. Mary Reed of Lincolnton, Ga.; Eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchild ren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
