. ~/TTiCLA. was born July 10, 1920, in Harlem, Geor gia to the late Luvenia and Leroy Paschal. She entered into rest Thursday, April 29, 2004.
On September 9, 1939, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Freddie Jones, and to this union four children were born.
At an early age she was converted and baptized at New Holt Baptist Church in Harlem, Georgia. She later moved to Augusta in 1945 and joined Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until death. She worked diligently as a member of the Missionary Board.
She was employed at Ft. Gordon for 35 years. In 1980 she retired as a Seam stress.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Frances M. Mays, Freddie L. Jones, Joseph C. Jones, all of Augusta, GA and Sharon D. Turner, Lexington, KY; three aunts; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandson; one son-in-law and two daughters-in-laws; and a host ol other relatives and friends.
