Mr. Winard Jones, 58, of Lincolhton, Ga., died Saturday in the Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
He was a native of Lincoln County and lived in Philadelphia, Pa., for twenty years. He was a member of New Tabernacle Baptist in Lincolnton, Ga.
Survivors include a wife, Mrs. Louise Jones, Lincolnton, . Ga.; one daughter, Miss Betty Jean Jones, Philadelphia, Pa.;
six sisters, Mrs. Effie Jane Partlow, Mrs. Assie Ree Willis, Miss Vertie Green, Mrs. Willie Lizzie Maddox, Mrs. Bessie Lue Hearst, all of Lincolnton, Ga., and Vellie Matthews, Chicago, 111.; two brothers, Mr. Leonard Jones and Mr. Harvey Lee Jones of Lincolnton, Ga.; two grandchildren, three sistersin-law, three brothers-in-law, two aunts, seven uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
