-- OUR TRIBUTE --
Mothers Never Die - They Just Keep House Up In The Sky
W hen we are children, we are happy and gay A n d our mother is young and she laughs as we play, Then as we grow up, she teaches us truth A n d lays life's foundation in the days o f our youth-- A n d then it is time fo r us to leave home B ut her teachings go w ith us wherever we roam, For all that she taught us and all that we did W hen we were so often ju st a "bad, little k id " W e w ill often remember and then realize T hat mothers are special and wonderfully wise . . . A n d as she grows older, we look back with love K now ing that mothers are "G ifts from above," A n d when she "goes hom e" to receive her reward She w ill dwell in G o d 's Kingdom and "keep house fo r the L ord" W here sh e'll "light u p " the stars that shine through the night A n d keep all the moonbeams "sparkling and bright" A n d then with the dawn sh e'll put the darkness aw ay A s she "scours" the sun to new brilliance each day . . . So dry tears o f sorrow, for mothers don't die-- T h ey ju s t move in w ith God and "keep house in the sky, " A n d there in G o d 's Kingdom, mothers watch from above To welcome their children with their undying love!
With Eternal Devotion, Your Children
