We honor you on this day, In our own very special way. You are a blessing from above, Sent by God to show his love. God gave you special treasures, Many o f which can not be measured. Grandparents are given special ears, To listen to all our jo ys andfears. They are given such a special touch, To show you ju st how you 're loved so much. They seem to know more that Mom and Dad, Because they always know how to maize us glad. They share with us that golden knowledge, Many o f the things we 'll never learn in college. We learn from they how to pray, And make sure we do it each and every day. Grandparents try to have a real tough hand, But their soft hearts make them change their plan. They love their grandkids beyond compare, And always have extra love to spare. While parents are great, No one has beat grandparents to date. So thank you once fo r being you, Thank you twice fo r all you do
And may God continue to bless you too.
