daughter

of the late John and Mattie Reid, was born on December 20, 1924 in Columbia County, Georgia. She entered into rest on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Augusta Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Hattie was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully for over 50 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three

daughters, Lavelle Diggs, Jeanette (Cornelius)

Jackson, and Elaine Johnson, all of Augusta,

GA; two sons, Donald Johnson and Leroy

Johnson of Augusta, GA; six grandchildren,

Angela (Tim Burley) Diggs, Rodrick Johnson,

Dr. Tiffaney Jackson, Ebony Johnson, LaTroy

Johnson, and Marcus Jackson; three great

grandchildren, Timothy Burley, NyAnza Burley,

and Chase Burley; two brothers, Julian Reid,

Augusta, GAand Milton (Helen) Reid,

Washington, DC; and a host of nieces,

nephews, and friends,,
