To see a love suffer And not recognize family or friends;
In spite of our undying love We want their pain to end
Wanting their lives to be spared Through a miracle of some kind;
We pray for God to intervene In His own due time
We re thankful for their lives As our minds begin to reflect; Wishing we could turn back time
And start in retrospect
Wanting them as they were Before sickness played a part; To take advantage of every opportunity To say "I Love You," from the heart
Thank God, theres a better place Than the world we now see;
Prepared by the Savior Himself Away from misery.
