Celebration of Me
A time to be born. . . On May 16, 1969, in Augusta, Georgia, a beautiful baby girl was born to Janie Bell and Willie Albeit Johnson, Sr. who they named Thomasina Octavia. She joined two other siblings in the Johnsons household.
A time to learn, live and love. . . Thomasina attended Richmond County Public Schools and graduated from Richmond Academy Class of 1987, she later attended Augusta College and Augusta Tech. As she continued to grow, she learned lifes special lessons along the way. She worked in management with various hotel chains. Thomasina enjoyed life. She liked traveling, spending her mamas money shopping and decorating. She enjoyed decorating so much until it never surprised her mother when coming in from work if the living room was different from die way it was when she left. Thomasina was a kind person, giving all she had and sometimes what wasnt hers to give. But thats the type of person she was; however, one should never take her kindness for weakness because she would set the record straight. She said what she meant and meant what she said. To know her was to love her. Thomasina loved her family and she was special to all who knew and loved her.
A time to serve. . . Thomasina loved the Lord. She was a member of Hosannah Baptist Church and later in life, she fellowshipped with the church family at Word Alive Outreach Ministries.
A time to die. . . On Thursday, August 26, 2004, Thomasina made the transition from life into the presence of Gods domain. She leaves memories that will be forever cherished in the hearts of her loved ones, her modier, Janie B. Young; father, Willie A. pallbearers;
Family and Friends
I Bo Bot <o &lone
If death should beckon me With outstretched hand I shall not be afraid
For though the path I do not know... I take deaths hand without fear
For He who safely brought me here Will always take me safely back,
And though in many things I lack... He will not let me go alone
Into the "Valley thats Unknown," So I reach out and take Deaths hand And journey to the "Promised Land."
