Mrs. Elizabeth Stallings Jennings, a loving mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, was born in Augusta, Georgia on November 20, 1923. She departed this life, Suitdav morning November 5, 2006 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Mrs. Jennings was affectionately known as "Baby". She received her education from the Richmond Countv Public School System and graduated when she was 16 years old. She was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church where she sang with the Senior Choir and served with the Senior Missionary Board. Mrs. Jennings played piano for several churches and was a volunteer in the community. She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with family and friends. She was a retired employee of the Granireville Mill Company and the Richmond County Public School System. Baby was known for her sharp wit, charming personality, humor and love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Laura Stallings, sister, Hstelle Johnson and one daughter, Robbies teen Hernandez.
She leaves to cherish, many fond and loving memories, her daughter, Brenda (Henry) Harper, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; nephew, Kenneth Stallings, Augusta, Georgia; niece, Carol Jennings, Connecticut; grandchildren, Sonya "Dizzy" (Tony) Smallwood, Darryl Simmons, Juacquinn (Ivamala) Smith and Christopher (Jo) Low, Jr., all o f North Carolina; great-grand's, Reverend Deron Simmons, Denia Simmons, Diane Newsome, Ryan Farley, Atlanta, Jasmine and Charity Smith, all o f North Carolina; -great-great grandK, 'DehYarne, Dejwaun, Soniva, Daniel, Jayla, Demyahia, and Nirie, all o f North Carolina; great nieces and nephews, Jennifer "G iGi" and Kris Stallings; and a host o f cousins, other relatives and friends.
