A A /riU f/n x i 5 8 . q^ ocoAs was

summoned home by the Lord to become one of His heavenly angels. She was born October 5,1944, to the late Clara P. and Henrietta Jacobs. She was also preceded in death by her broth ers, Willie James Lawson and Matthew Brown.

At an early age she gave her life to Christ and joined Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, where she served faithfully.

Her life was devoted to helping and caring for others. She was affectionately doing this in her job as a health-care professional. She provided diligent and loving care to all of her patients. She served them well at Jennings Manor and Georgia War Veteran's Nursing Home, where she later retired. Her work was such an instrumental part of her life, even after retirement, she contin ued her work at West Lake Manor. Christine touched so many lives while living this earthly life and will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted spouse, Bennie Sanford; children, Charles F. Jacobs and Hiawatha Shon (Lionel) Gaston; stepdaughter, Teresa Durham; grandchildren, Crystal Cone, Tiara Harris, Keeona Durham, Roman and Marcus Gaston; four sisters, Irene Lawson of Brooklyn, New York, Lillie Mae (James) Wilson, Clara (Eddie) Coleman and Minnie B. Webb; aunts, Freddie Mae Lawson, Bessie Lou Tanksley and Katherine (Matthew) Jones; uncle, Robert Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
