ShirCey SAnn Lee Jackson, daughter of the Cate Mr.
AV. C. Lee and Minnie SheftaCC Lee was horn on
JAugust 27, 1934 in Macon, Georgia. She Ceft this
earth on September 2, 2016.
She attendedGreen Street ECementary andBaCCard
3-Cigh SchooC. She graduated from fish University
in 1955, where she was crowned Miss fish
(1954-1955). She received her Masters degree in
Education from Mercer University.
ShirCey Lee married the Cate Judge Thomas M.
Jackson in 1956 and they were together for 43
wonderfuC years untiC his passing in 1999. They
were hCessed with one daughter, yiveca JAnnette
Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson taught for 31 years at B. S. Ingram,
Joseph TC. TfeeC and Charles Bruce E Cement ary
SchooCs. She was aCso a member of the lACpha Xappa
JAlpha Sorority, Inc. for many years.
She Ceaves in ceCebration of her Cife: her Coving and
devoted daughter, yiveca; her sister, Jeanne
(Joseph) Grayson; and many reCatives and friends
who have Coved and supported her throughout her
Cife. She wiCC aCways be remembered with much
Cove.
