MRS. ROSA HARPER JACKSON, was born on March 8, 1907 in Wilkes County, Georgia., to the late; Mr. and Mrs. John Quinn and Liddie Blackwell Harper. She was called from labor to reward on October 9, 1992 at the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
In 1922, she was united in holy matrimony to the late; Kendrick Jackson. Into this union fourteen children were born, eight preceded her in death.

At an early age, she was converted and baptized at the Trinity Baptist Church in Danburg, Georgia. After moving to Augusta, Georgia, she united with the Gumming Grove Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mothers Board, Senior Missionary Society and Roy Elam Choir and
served faithfully until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons; Kendrick

Jackson, Jr., and Jesse C. Jackson, Oakland, California. Wil-

lie Lewis Jackson and Marvin Jackson, Augusta, Georgia.,

two daughters; Bertha J. Singleton and Rose J. Wilson,

Augusta, Georgia., one sister; Mrs. Carrie Stribling, North

Augusta, South Carolina. Thirty-Three grandchildren, fifty-

four great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grand

children, one son-in-law,; Mr. Sam Singelton, of Augusta,

Georgia., two daughters-in-law; Mrs. Willie Ann Johnson,

of Augusta, Georgia., and Mrs. Gear] D. Jackson, of Oak

land, California. A host of nieces, nephews and other re

latives and friends.
