** OBITUARY**
Mrs. Shirley Ann Johnson Jackson entered into rest on July 12,1987 at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.
She was born March 7, 1938 in Lincolnton County to Ms. Naomi Williams. She was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age and later moved to Augusta, Ga. andjoined Macedonia Baptist Church. She received her education in the Immaculate Conception Catholic School.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Sammy Jackson, Sr. and to this union four children were born.
She leaves to mourn two children, one daughter, Ms. Debra E. Jackson; one son, Mr. Wayne C. Jackson of Augusta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Cornelius M. Jackson, Nakia M. Jackson and Sammy Jackson, III; mother, Ms. Naomi Williams; one brother, Mr. Joe Clemmons; one sister, Ms. Rose P. Pete; grandmother, Ms. Eula M. Johnson; mother-in-law, Ms. Florence Jackson; four aunts; five uncles; four nieces; three nephews; a dear friend, James McGahee and a host of other relatives and friends.
Down a road thats calm and peaceful guided by Gods loving hand; He has gone upon a journey to a distant, brighter land. He wished no one a last farewell, or even said goodbye.
He had gone before we knew it and only God knows why Sincere and kind in heart and mind,
What a beautiful memory he left behind."
