** OBITUARY **
There is so much bad in the best of us, and so much good in the worst of us, That it doesnt behoove any of us to talk about the rest of us.
Mr. Sammy Jackson, Jr., entered into rest on February 5, 1984 in the University Hospital.
He was born, November 25, 1954, to the late Mr. Sammie Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Shirley Jackson.
He was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age and later moved to Central Baptist Church.
He received his education in the public schools of Richmond County. He was an active participant in school activities. He served as head drummer until his graduation from Lucy C. Laney High.
He was employed at DuPont under Local 1137, and formally employed at Plant Vogtie.
He was highly respected and loved by his family and friends.
He leaves to mourn his mother, Mrs. Shirley Jackson; one son Sammy Jackson, III; two sisters, Ms. Debra E. Jackson, Ms. Bea trice Jackson; one brother, Mr. Wayne C. Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Ms. Florence Jackson; his maternal grandmothers, Ms. Naomi Williams and Ms. Eula Mae Johnson; one niece, Nakia Jackson; one nephew, Cornelius Jackson; seven aunts, seven uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
