The Life of our Daddy
I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore lean do or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature,
Le t me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.
Mr. Sammie Jackson was born December 24, 1934 in Augusta, Georgia to Ms. Florence Jackson.
He received his education in the public schools of Richmond County. At age 12, his Scoutmaster named him "Half-Pint". At an early age he was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was a very talented musician.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Shirley A. Johnson and to this union four children were born.
He leaves to mourn his mother, Ms. Florence Jackson; wife, Mrs. Shirley Jackson; two sons, Mr. Sammy Jackson, Jr. and Mr. Wayne Jackson; two daughters, Ms. Debra E. Jackson, Ms. Bea trice Jackson; three grandchildren, Cornelius Jackson, Nakia M. Jackson and Sammy Jackson III; one uncle, Mr. Joe Jackson; two aunts, Mrs. Amanda Gainer and Mrs. Johnnie B. Metoyer; a devoted cousin, Mrs. Joann Hayes; two dear friends, Mr. Warren Morris and Mr. John Emanuel and a host of other relatives and friends.
