I'm Free

*******

Don't grieve fo r me, fo r now I'm free

But not burdened with times o fsorrow,

following the path God has laid you see.

I wish you the sunshine o f tomorrow,

I took His hand when 1 heard His call

M y life's been full, I savored much,

1 turned my back and left it all.

Goodfriends, good times, a loved ones touch.

1 could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way I found the peace at the close o f day.
I f my parting has left a void Thenfill it with rememberedjoys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undo g rief Lift up your heart, and peace to theeGod wanted me now, He set mefree.
