Reflections of life
Ms. Evangeline Jones Howard, 53, o f 4217 Cap Chat Street, Hephzibah, GA departed this life on June 26, 2010 at University Medical Center. She was bom January 17, 1957 to the late Eddie Jones and the late Martha Mae Jones Dennis.
Evangeline was employed for twenty years as a teacher with the Richmond County Board of Education.
She was a faithful and active member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church where she sang on the Inspirational Choir and was a member o f the Prison Ministry.
She served as an advisor for the Little Miss Charmante Pageant until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christian Howard; one stepson, Charles Howard, Jr.; one step-daughter, Olivia Howard and one granddaughter, Christianya Howard; one sister, Gwen Hammond of Augusta; three brothers, P. Aurther Jones o f Six Mile, SC, Eddie Jones o f Brooklyn, NY, and Johnny Lee Dennis o f Detroit, MI; six step-sisters of Anderson, SC; three step-brothers and one god-son, Jimmy Kyler; three aunts, Sallie Sherard, Katie Noel, and Carrie Hunter and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
