Fathers Are Wonderful People
Fathers are wonderful people too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises as often as we should....
And Father struggles daily to live up to "his image"
As protector and provider and "hero o f the scrimmage"...
And perhaps that is the reason we sometimes get the notion
That Fathers are not subject to the things we call emotion,
But if you look inside Dad's heart, where no one else can see,
You'll findhe's sentimental and as "soft" as he can be...
Fathers arejust wonderful in a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments and accolades o fpraise,
For the only reason Dad aspires to fortune and success
Is to make the family proud o fhim and to bring them happiness...
And like our Our Heavenly Father, He's guardian and a guide,
Someone that we can count on to be always on our side.

To My Loved One
No reason for sorrow, no reason to cry. Look toward tomorrow and I'll tell you why my precious memories of you and yours of me are
filled with love and laughter forever. You'll see no reason to worry, nor question God
as to why you have lost me. No reason to say goodbye.
It's time for my journey home,
*
a beautiful and peaceful trip that I must
make alone.
So just be strong and keep a smile,
We'll only be apart for a little while.
The love I've known is a very special part,
the love I've shown came straight from
the heart.
I leave you now to go on my way to a wonderful place where we'll be together
someday. No reason at all as you can see. I'm with my Lord. He'll take care of me.

Special Thank You!
A SPECIAL AND HEART FELT "THANK YOU" is extended to Betty P. Holloway, sister-in-law, for the dedicated service she provided to our Dad with love and devotion. Words are inadequate to express our appreciation to her for being there unselfishly when we were unavailable to do so.

We Thank You, We Love You
If you came to us that day, Or stood silently along the way;
If you served, baked or cooked, And by chance your name we overlooked;
If you drove behind us in the throng, Or called to see how we were getting along;
If you sent a message of regret, And it hasn't been acknowledged yet;
For the smallest kindness and the greatest gift, Which gave our hearts so much of a lift; We thank you, and we love you.
Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that day.
Every good thought projected, Made us feel loved and protected;
So to all who sought to help and do, To ease our burden and see us through;
We love you in a most special way, Because you remembered and came to us that day.
