** OBITUARY**
Bessie Mae Watson Holloway was born in Jefferson County to Mrs. Laura Mae Gilmore Watson and the late Henry Watson. She was the second child of four children.
She confessed in Christ at an early age. As a child she became a mem ber of the St. Marys Episcopal Church under the pastorate of Father Char les H. Dukes. In later years, she joined the Tremont Temple Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. James A. Dunn where she served faithfully until her health failed. She was a member of the Senior Choir.
In 1938 she was married to Mr. Charles Holloway.
She leaves to mourn her passing a daughter. Miss Veronica Holloway; a mother, Mrs. Laura M. Watson; both of Augusta; a sister, Mrs. Sadie C. Walker of Austin, Texas; a brother, Mr. Robert L. Watson of Augusta; one aunt, Mrs. Mamie Houston of Louisville, Ga.;a sister-in-law, Mrs. Sadie Wat son of Augusta; a brother-in-law, Mr. James C. Walker of Austin, Texas; nieces, Mrs. Brenda Newman of St. Louis, Mo., Miss Valerie Watson, Augu sta; nephews, Mr. Cornelius Walker, Houston, Texas, Mr. Alvin Walker, Texas City, Texas, Mr. Gregory Watson, Augusta, and an adopted sister, Mrs. Olivia Lyles of Augusta, a host of relatives and friends. A very dear friend. Mr. Doyle Avery.
