1 am home in Heaven, dear ones; And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Oh, so happy and so bright!
Could I have one doubt or dread?
There is perfectjoy and beauty Then you must not grieve so sorely,
In this everlasting light.
For 1 love you dearly still;
All the pain and griefis over. Every restless tossing passed;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's will.
la m now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last.
There is work still waitingfo r you. So you must not idly stand;
Did you wonder 1 so calmly Trod the valley o f the shade?
Do it now, while life remainethYou shall rest in Jesus' land.
Oh! but Jesus' Jove illumined Every dark andfearful glade.
When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;
And He came Himself to meet me Oh, the rapture o f that meeting, In that way so hard to tread; Oh, thejoy to see you come!
