Mr. Floyd (Chick) Henderson departed this life Friday, January 5, 1979. He was born February 5, 1912 in Washington Wilks County to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Henderson.
He moved to Augusta at an early age. He was employed at Anderson Bar until his health failed.
He was married to Mrs. Adelaid Rhodes, December 1, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Adelaide Henderson; five daughters, Mrs. Katie Jerry, Landover, Md., Mrs. Margaret Collins, Landover, Md., Mrs. Carolyn Crawford, Augusta, Ga., Ms. Janet Henderson, Guan, Ms. Janice Henderson, Bethesda, Md.; one son, Mr. Monti Earl Henderson, Au gusta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Jessie M. Honell, Hugo, Oklahoma; tw o step children, Mrs. Joyce Denise Gay Rhodes, Hawaii, Mr. William McKinnley Rhodes, Japan; seven grandchildren; one great grand, and a host of other relatives and friends.
