WHAT GOD HATH PROMISED
God hath not promised
But God hath promised
Skies always blue,
Strength for the day,
Flower-strewn pathways
Rest for the labor,
All our lives through
Light for the way,
God hath not promised
Grace for the trials,
Sunshine without rain
Help from above,
Joy without sorrow,
Unfailing sympathy,
Peace without pain.
Undying love.
