CheryC% Marris, 57, was the loving daughter

o f the late Mr, James J. Wilkins and Mrs. Margaret R. Wilkins.

She was born on September 5, 1945 in Berkley, Virginia. She

departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 5, 2002.

Cheryl was united in Holy Matrimony to Augustus R. Harris, Jr. on November 4, 1961 in Elizabeth City; North Carolina. Of this union, three daughters and two sons were born.

She was a devoted member of The Antioch Baptist Church for 25 years where she was the beginners Sunday School Teacher and a member of various choirs and organizations.

Chervi was employed at J. C. Penney Department Store, where she was a dedicated employee for the past 13 years.

Cheryl leaves to celebrate her life her loving and devoted husband, Augustus R. Harris, Jr.; three daughters, Angela M. (Kenneth) Long, Pensacola, Florida, Michele D. (Lloyd) Jackson, Chesapeake, Virginia and Wanda R. (Ronnie) Salley, Martinez, Georgia; two sons, Augustus, R. (Sophia) Harris, 111, Lawrenceville, Georgia and Anthony M. (Kirstie) Harris, Augusta, Georgia; mother, Margaret R. Wilkins, Norfolk, Virginia; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Cynthia (Alfred) Brummitt, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Roslyn (Donald) Williamson, Norfolk, Virginia and Vicki (Henry) Powers, Detroit, Michigan; one brother, Cornel Wilkins, San Ysidro, California; mother-in-law, Mary E. Harris, Greenville, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Ronald (Walterinc) Harris, Newport News, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Juanita Douglas, Charlotte, North Carolina; devoted friend, Janis Daniel, Augusta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Even as sickness took over, Your concern was not for Cheryl but for Ray.
