OBITUARY
Robert Hanton entered in to th s world May 4th, 1937, the fourth son of the late Otis and Meeley Hanton in Philadelphia, Pa. He was educated in the Philadelphia Schoo' System.
He attended the Wayland Baptist Church Sunday School and Church. Later he served in the U.S. A rm y for ten years and was honorably discharged.
Of his previous marriage three children were born. In later years he met and married Addie Brown on October 14th, 1983 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Bobby was w orking for the U.S. Postal Service w h e n God w e n t into his garden and picked a flower. Bobby went peacefully inside and took his seat. In his new home, one knows no sorrow or pain. Joy came in the afternoon at 1:00 P.M. at the V.A. Hospital.
M ouring their loss is: his faithful wife, Addie; daughters, Vanessa, Valeria; and son, Vernon; two grandchildren, three brothers, Derry, of Augusta, Ga., Otis, Jr., of Philadelphia, Pa., Donald, of Chilshurst, N.J.; one aunt, Liza Moore, of Elloree, S.C.; and one uncle, Sam Moore, also of Elloree, S,C.; five brothers-in-law , four sisters-in-law, his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs.QIarret Jackson; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
