"I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith; henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day ; and not to me only but unto all them that love his appearing." ~ II Timothy 4:7-8
Mrs. Daisy McEroy Griffin's soul took flight across death's stream on Sunday, October 10,1999 at the Columbia-Augusta Regional Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. She was ninety years old. Mrs. Griffin was born July 31, 1909 in Columbia County, Georgia to the late Frank Robinson and Mary Ellen Robinson-McNeil.
She was a faithful member of the Steiner Grove Baptist Church, Grovetown, Georgia, where she served as Mother of the Church and a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Harlem Women's Club.
She shared a life of joy and happiness with the late Mr. Gus McEroy. While sharing holy matrimony they were blessed with a son, Frank A. McEroy. After his death, she united into holy matrimony with the late Mr. Jesse Griffin.
She leaves fond memories to be cherished by a loving and devoted son - Mr. Frank A. McEroy of Harlem, Georgia; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, one sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
With sincere hearts and deep appreciation we extend a warm "thank you" to all who have shared with us during this period of bereavement. Whatever you may have done in your effort to comfort and console us has not gone unnoticed. May God bless each of you for the many courtesies extended us in this hour.
Thank you, The Family

In tears we saw you sinking and watched you fade away Our hearts were almost broken, we wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, so peacefulfree from pain; How could we wish you back with us, to suffer that again. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn yt go alone, For part o f us went with you, the day God took you home. Wejust can't know what lies ahead, from day to passing day, What changes God is planning, In His wise and loving way. Wejust can't know the reasons, why our sorrow has to be Why we must lose the ones we need and love so specially. Wejust can yt know, but we can trust, Andfaith can help usfind Our way to those "tomorrows " And that will bring peace of mind.
