0B1TVARY
Ralph Gresham stood tall among men. On Sunday, May 22, 1994 at the Wills Memorial Hospital, he was commanded to step down and pass the strifes and joys of life to the living. Ralph was bom April 19, 1921, the son of the late Pledge Gresham and Mary McKinney Gresham.
Hard work with a smile was the tool of life for Ralph from an early age. Being taught as a child that all things are possible through God, he joined and was a servant of the Rocky Mt. Baptist Church, serving mainly on the Deacon Board. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #63.
Ralph was a Father to many and Friend to all. Never did one leave his presence without smiling or laughing with him, even through his illness. Leaving to miss his strong shoulder and guidance, is his wife, Louise, whom he married on April 9, 1944. From this marriage before God and man, seven Children were bom; Roger and Pleas of Atlanta, Georgia, James Preston and Olivia of Washington, Georgia, Willie Marshall of Augusta, Georgia, Freddie of Sylvania, Georgia and Major Roy Gresham of the U.S. Air Force presently residing in Montgomery, Alabama; five Daughter-in-laws, Betty, Sheila, Gladys, Mary Jo and Dorothy; one Son-in law, Charles Jackson; eighteen Grand children, eight Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us today. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much whatever the part.
