THE OBITUARY
Rosa Mae Green was born in Burke County, Geogia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams.
At an early age she was converted and baptized at Battford Baptist Church, where she served until she moved to Augusta, Georgia. There she became a faithful member of Mount Calvay Baptist Church, where she served in several capacities. She was an active member of the Sunday School, the church choir, Club No. 3, the mission. She also sang with the Walker Baptist Choir.
She was a devoted mother, a faithful church member and a community worker. She also taught a number of years as a classroom teacher in the Walker Baptist Institute of this city.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Savage, son-in-law, William Savage, Jr., Brooklyn, New York; daughterin-law, Mrs. Gail Green, grandchildren, Dawn Green, LaTanya Patrick, Augusta, Georgia. Two nieces, Ruby Evans, Philadel phia, Penn.; Mrs. Louise Williams, Newark, N. J. Two nephews, Ronnie Williams, Jr., Newark, N. J. and Ronald Wise, Charles Griffin, Augusta, Georgia and a host of cousins, and devoted friends.
