James Qreen, J r , was the oldest of three children
born to James Green and Vivian Gibson. He was born on December 19, 1947, in Louisville, Georgia. He was affectionately known by his family as "W illie James" and to friends as "Dip".
James went to school in Jefferson County. He further pursued a career in Truck Driving and also Glass Repair, which he enjoyed.
James joined the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He served faithfully up until the Lord's calling. He loved his family and would help anyone who needed it. He was always the force that kept his friends happy when they were together. James leaves a joy in our hearts.
The moon and stars were shining when you were called to grace. We won't let anyone take your place. We're going to miss you deeply and think about you forever. It will he fine, cause you are in a wonderful place called heaven.
He leaves cherished memories with: mother Vivian Gibson, Augusta, GA; wife, Jennifer Pryor Green, Augusta, GA; son, James Green, Augusta, GA; stepsons, Jack Oliver, Augusta, GA, Cedric Oliver, Augusta, GA, Jermaine Oliver, Augusta, GA, Rico Oliver, Augusta, and Charles Green, Augusta, GA; two stepdaughters, Sarah Green, Augusta and Felicia Oliver, Augusta, GA; two uncles, Alfonzie (Miriam) Mathis, Rockledge, FL and Sam Cooke, Augusta, GA; five aunts, JoAnn Hains, Wrens, GA, Classy (Jimmie) Robinson, Wrens, GA, Katie Mathis, Cocoa, FL, Flora Bell Coleman, Melbourne, FL, Anita Riddle, Kingston, GA; two granddaughters, Samone Green and LaTrice Nelson; devoted nieces and nephews, Dennis Williams, Dewhight (Joyce) Williams, Portia Williams and Crystal Williams; special friends, Pepino Bussey, Clara Mitchell, Johnny Harden, Cherriana Harden and Sandra Hobbs; and a host of family and friends.
