Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light.
Ail the pain and grief is over. Every restless tossing passed;
I am now a t peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder 1so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! But Je su s' love illumined Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread;
And with Je sus' arm to lean on Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to tru st our father's will.
There is work still waiting for your, S o you m ust not idly stand; Do it now; while life remainethYou shall rest in Jesus' land.
When th a t work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!
F o r you I leave the 'Rags to Riches, the hopes, the dreams,
The water, the blessings, and material things, Though I leave you, to return to a better place, B u t ju s t as you did, again, they welcome my face, I le ft you on good terms, a path fo r all to take,
and w ith my guidance and^good love, there w ill be no rig h t nor wrong way, Yes, love I w ill leave you, leave you a tw enty. F o r my new place o f residence_ we have a plenty, The smiles, the dinner, the trips downtown, however you wanna see it, III always be around, D idn't want to leave, nojdidnt want to go, B u t I've met a brighter shine, a brighter shine than
the sun on unmelted snow, The Ice I now chew, w ill someday be rain, F or the sins I'll help wash way, oh yeah, and help
ease all pain, I w ill go now, Farewell, but never gone forever, remember to always go forw ard, looking back, promise
yourselves you w ill never, fAuch Love To All, Amen.
