** OBITUARY **
Mr. Bose Gowdy, the son of the late Bose & Carrie Gowdy, was born August 12, 1912 in McCormick County, S.C. He departed this life May 4, 1985 at Humana Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
He was united in Holy Wedlock to Ms. Mary Johnson. To this union four children were born.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Mary J. Gowdy; one daughter, Ms. Bessie G. Mims; three sons, Mr. Bose Gowdy, Jr. and Thomas Gowdy, all of Augusta, and Broadus Gowdy of Evans, Georgia; one brother, Mr. Lawrence Gowdy of North Augusta, S.C.; one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
