Agnes Gilchrist the daugther of the late

John Mathis and Hattie Tuner Mathis, She

was born September 25,1918, in Burke

.

County Georgia.

Mrs. Gilchrist was raised in the Green Cut community of McBean,Georgia. There she met and married Mr. Willie (Bill) Gilchrist, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Gilchrist was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in the esrly60s. Shev*^to mourn: four children, Miller Gilchrist,Waynesboro,Georgia, Thelma Robinson, Augusta,Georgia,Evelyn Lee, Dorchester, Massachusetts,Willie Mae Gilchrist, Providence, Rhode Island. One daughter-in-law Evelyn Gilchrist, one sonin- law, John Henry Lee. A devoted friend of Thelma,Micheal Webb. Nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and many friends who were dear to her. A devoted cousin Jessie Hicks.
