Reflections
Bernice Delores Wingfleld Garrison was born June 21, 1931 to Rachel Doby Wingfield and John Mack Wingfield. She was the third child ofnine children. She was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida.
At an early age, she joined Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church where she was a faithful member until moving to Atlanta, Georgk.
Bernice was married to Johnnie Lee Bell with whom she had one daughter. She was later married to Noah Garrison and had a son, who preceded her in death.
Affectionately known to family and friends as "Granny". In the dawn ofthe morning ofMarch 20, 2005, God sent His Angels to bring "Granny " home and relieved her of all earths sorrows and pain. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Vivian Bell; sis ters, Anganese Solomon and Rose Starks; three grandsons, Brett, Darryl, and Anthony; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Markerious, and Victoria; two brothers-in-law, Ted Solomon and Robert Bells; one sister-in-law, Beatrice Bell; a host ofnieces, neph ews, and other relatives and friends.
~Psalms 23~
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the
still waters
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths ofrighteousnessfor his names sake.
.1. -.
Yea, though I walk through the valley ofthe shadow ofdeath, I willfear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staffthey comfort me.
Thou prepares! a table before me in the presence ofmine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shallfollow me all the days ofmy life: and I will dwell in the house ofthe Lordfor ever.
