** O B I T U A R Y **
Emmett J. Fryer son o f Booker T. and Callie Mae Fryer was born in Burke County, Georgia, August 12, 1932. He departed this life Tuesday, November 3, 1981 at University Hospital.
He attended the public schools in Burke County. Mr. Fryer was a retired barber, and a member o f Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he served on the usher board.
His survivors are a devoted wife, Armenta L. Fryer; his loving mother and father Booker T. and Callie Mae Fryer; daughter, Deborah L. Fryer; a son, Emmett Gerald Fryer, Augusta, Georgia; four brothers, Bennie and Robert Fryer, Augusta, Georgia, Booker T. Fryer, Washington, D. C., Herbert Fryer, Sickleville, N. Y.; three sisters, Anita Fryer Thomas, Bessie Fryer, Evelyn Warthen, Augusta, Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
