To My Husband, I thank God for all the years we have shared together. We grew up together. We
were so young when wc were married. Through it all God allowed us over 40 years together. Often times, we were childish, selfish, and impatient. But God allowed us to mature in his Grace and Wisdom. Thank you for all your hard work. You were a great provider. You made sure your family had a roof over their head, food on the table, transportation and other wants during the years. Thanks for all the fun times traveling. You loved to drive and always got Lost! You were a comedian, commentator, a doctor, fisherman, carpenter and a talker, etc.
Thanks for loving me with so much admiration for taking care of me and giving me so much love and affection. I pray that I met your expectations and reciprocations. I will always love you and hold our treasured memories. I say so long for now and until we meet again.

You fought a good fight! Go on and take your crown! You are free! Walk on around heaven, walk on.
You Wonder Why
You wonder why, I went away And didn't say "good-bye " I couldn 't bear to tell you For it hurts to see you cry. My ship came in early that morning And OH! What a beautiful sight to see! The captain was King Jesus And he softly beckoned me.
I ran the leeway Andfell down at HISfeet He took me in HIS arms And then I knew my rest was complete.

For a Loving Father and Grandfather
Imagine this... a world where all kids know their fathers and grandfathers, feel the strength of generations supporting them, and experience the day-to-day love and happiness that only comes from family sticking togetheno matter what.
That's the gift you've given methefamily I know and love.
And that's why today reminds me. And that's why today reminds me
just how grateful I am to have a grandfather
like YOU. La'Keisha and Taylor

God looked around his garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw Your tired face, He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
You have been in our family for over 40 years. We have laughed together and we have cried together. We have Loved and we have Lost!
Though God has called you home. We will cherish our memories always.

God has placed me in a new home! I 'll miss you all!
