* THE OBITUARY *
JOHN HENRY FLONO, son of the late Sal lie Ruth Flonc Johnson was born in Clark Hill, South Carolina on Novembei 18, 1935. He departed this life on Thursday, November 3; 1988 at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia.
John Henry attended Weed Elementary School in Augusta. He was employed at Augusta College and Humana Hospital for e number of years. He had an intimate love for golf, anc was a former caddy at the Augusta National Golf Club fot many years.
John was a kind and gentle person who was loved by all whc knew him.
John really loved his family and always upheld it in the highest regards. As he struggled in his recent illness, he never gave up hope.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new (2nd Corinthians 5:17). On Saturday, October 29, 198 a public confession was made by John Henry in his accepting the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior to The Rev. Charles Smith.
The Family says Hallelujah!! For it is well with his SOUL!!
He leaves to mourn, their loss, Seven Aunts, Mrs. Millie Wilson and Mrs. Fannie Moore of Brooklyn, New York; Mrs. Rebecca Williams, Martinez, Georgia; Mrs. Prudie Flono, Mrs. Geraldine Flono and Mrs. Janie Flono of Augusta, Georgia; and Mrs. Marie Flono, Evans, Georgia. One greataunt, Mrs. Pearl Marshall of Brooklyn, New York; Thirty cousins, a dear close friend, Mr. Hugh Jones and man^ loving and caring relatives and friends.
