Phenomenal Woman
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies.
I say, It's in the reach o f my arms,
The span o f my hips, The stride o f my step, The curl o f my lips.
I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman,
That's me.
I walk into a room Just as cool as you please,
And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive o f honey bees.
I say, It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash o f my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the jo y in my feet.
I'm a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, That's me

A Tribute to our Mother
Mom, no words could ever measure or express the appreciation and gratitude we have for the things you taught us in this wonderful time we had together. Nor could words explain how much we will miss you or the hurt we feel inside from your absence. The only two who could understand is you and Jesus. Thank you for turning us into culturally diverse, intelligent young women. You taught us not to judge people by the outward appearance but, rather by the content of their character. You always led by example and always graciously found humor in what seemed to be turbulent times. It always awed us how you stood unshaken. It is because of you we can face adversity with such a positive attitude. Thank you for all the time, support and dedication that you committed. What ever we were involved in, so was Jan. It's truly amazing how God sets things in order because you were a love magnet drawing all sorts of people from all walks of life, be it at work or at church. You left a mark wherever you were and are. EVERYONE loved you and Nicole and I are blessed most of all because you are our mother. I know that others feel blessed for their mothers, but you, Janice, were truly one of a kind. We love you so much and miss you triple that - Valerie and NiCole
