The Obituary
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight o f glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
Marguerita Fairley was born on February 14, 1943, in
Richmond County, Georgia to Kathryn Golphin and the late Willie James Golphin. She was raised and educated in Au gusta, Georgia. In 1961, Marguerita Fairley graduated from Immaculate Conception, where she was a star basketball player. Marguerita was a dedicated wife and mother. As a homemaker, people were drawn to the way she opened up her home for people in need. Marguerita will be forever remembered for the faithfulness that she provided to her family, and the way she could always make people smile. Marguerita entered into rest on October 17, 2008, at Heartland Hospice.

m am a
You were our mother, friend, cook, bank, baby-sitter and protection. You juggled all those jobs with so much perfection. You had the courage o f a lion and the spirit o fa dove. Everyday you gave us so much o fyour love. We gave you flowers while you were here, because we wanted our lovefo r you to be very clear. We wanted to say "thank you M am a" one more time, because fo r us you always put yourself on the line. Now lay down, Mama and get some rest, God only did what was best. Not one day with you do we regret. . . yeah, Mama we 'll miss you, but we 'll never forget.
