OBITUARY Mrs. Evelyn R. Evans

Sis. Evelyn R. Evans, the eighth child of the late Coleman and Lena Robinson, was born on December 18, 1913, in Wrens, Georgia. She departed this life Tuesday, November 6, 1984, at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
Sis. Evans joined Thompson Bridge Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H. Mines and continued to be a faithful member even after her health failed.
She was united in marriage on August 7, 1932, to the late Mose Evans, Sr., and to this union 12 children were born.
She leaves to mourn her passing: four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Smith and Mrs. Mary Abrams, Hephzibah, Mrs. Darlene Striggles, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Deloris Parris, Augusta; one step-daughter, Mrs. Annie Bell Chandler, Alexander; seven sons, Mose Evans, Jr., Syracuse, N.Y., Col eman Evans, Boston, Mass., Roy Evans, New York City, David Evans, Jimmy Evans, Norman Evans, and Milton Evans, all of Waynesboro; one brother, O.D. Robinson, Millen, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Amy Walker, New York City, Mrs. Minnie Lee Strickland, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Rosalyn Roberson, Englewood, N.J., and Mrs. Mary Danilly, Detroit, Michigan; six daughters-in-law, 3 sons-in-law, one brother-in-law, Schwartz Evans, Waynesboro; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lena Robinson, Millen, Ga., and Mrs. Etolier Garvin, Savannah, Ga.; 39 grandchildren, seven great grand children, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
OBITUARY Mrs. Martha E. Manson "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever." Mrs. Martha E. Manson, daughter of the late Mose, Sr. and Evelyn R. Evans, was born August 3, 1951, in Burke County, Georgia. She departed this life Wednesday, November 7, 1 984, at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital, Augusta, Ga. At an early age, she joined the Thompson Bridge Baptist Church, she was a 1969 graduate of Blakeney High School and attended Fort Valley State College. On August 11,1973, she married Mr. Ernest Manson. Her survivors include her husband, Ernest Manson; one son, Darrel Lamont Evans, one daughter, Tahlea Remel Manson; one step-daughter, Nicole Dienial Manson, all of Waynesboro; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Bell Chandler, Alexander, Mrs. Evelyn Smith, and Mrs. Mary Abrams, Hephzibah, Mrs. Darlene Striggles, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Deloris Parris, Augusta; seven brothers, Mose Evans, Jr., Syracuse, N.Y., Coleman Evans, Boston, Mass., Roy Evans, New York City, David Evans, Jimmy Evans, Norman Evans and Milton Evans, Waynesboro; five aunts, Mrs. Amy Walker, New York City, Mrs. Minnie Lee Strickland, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Rosalyn Roberson, Englewood, N.J., Mrs. Mary Danilly, Detroit, Michigan; and Mrs. Etolier Garvin, Savannah, Ga., two uncles, O.D. Robinson, Millen, Ga., and Schwartz Evans, Waynesboro; one great aunt, Mrs. Clara Walker, Waynesboro; seven sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
